We’re officially entering a new phase in Massive Warfare’s evolution. For the first time ever, we’re testing pilot balance adjustments—starting exclusively in the Android Beta Program.
Leading the charge? The iconic Dixon Twins, now equipped with a reworked skill designed to make them faster, stronger, and more dynamic in battle.
What’s New with Trigger Frenzy?
The Dixon Twins’ original version of their Tier 4 skill, Trigger Frenzy, was all about building momentum:
- +4% fire rate per kill
- Up to a maximum of +140%
- No initial boost—power had to be earned with each elimination
While rewarding for high-skill players, it often felt slow in some matches for users in lesser ranks and tiers. That’s why we’re testing a reworked version in Beta.
The new version brings a faster impact and more immediate value:
- Plus +20% fire rate instantly, right at the start of the battle
- +5% additional fire rate per enemy kill
- Capped at +120% extra fire rate
This means players now start with a solid offensive advantage and only need 20 eliminations to fully stack the remaining 120%, reaching the new max bonus more efficiently than ever. Unlike before, where you needed to build all the way up from 0%, the updated version ensures that you feel powerful from the very first shot—and build from there.
More Balance Testing: Predator & Stormrider Join the Beta Reworks
The Dixon Twins aren’t the only ones receiving attention in this new balance wave. As part of the Android Beta testing, we’re also adjusting two vehicles with powerful ultimates: the Predator helicopter and the upcoming Stormrider hovercraft.
Both vehicles feature the Giga Mine ultimate—a high-impact ability that can turn the tide of battle. To enhance its usability and increase tactical flexibility, we’re reducing its cooldown from 33 seconds to 25 seconds.
This change allows players to deploy Giga Mine more frequently, making both Predator and Stormrider more reliable and effective in high-pressure situations. As always, this update is currently exclusive to Beta, where we’ll be monitoring its impact closely before considering a global release.
Why This Matters
This marks a historic moment: it’s the first time we’ve adjusted a previously released pilot’s skill. And we’re starting in Beta to make sure it feels right.
We believe this version provides more tactical flexibility, rewarding players with a smoother ramp-up and more control over their combat flow.
Only on Android Beta—for Now
This balance update is available only to Android users in the Beta Program, where we’re testing features before they hit the global release. Your feedback matters—how this change performs will help us decide whether more pilots should receive similar balance updates in the future.
If the reception is positive, this could be the first of many reworks to come, helping us keep gameplay fresh, competitive, and fair across the board.
